Why Taungthutada Impact Capital?
In TTTD, we view impact capital from two aspects: for individuals who join us to work towards our impacts and for those operating at the systemic level, such as rural entrepreneurs and community-driven businesses.
TTTD Social Impact Capital
We are one of Myanmar's social impact funds to provide investment and professional services for rural entrepreneurs and rural-community-driven business. We support rural entrepreneurship and impact-driven capital to alleviate poverty, promote inclusive rural employment, and nurture community-based business for sustainable agriculture and economic growth.
Approaches
Deliver foundational business and agricultural training to rural communities, including sales agents and women's representative programs.
Assist rural enterprises (Phone Li, Ywar Nee Nar) in developing business proposals to secure funding for sustaining and growing their operations.

In order to further increase the fund size, we will partner with Hong Kong-based charities, LxM to manage the fund and directly donate to TTTD former and existing employees, including from farmers families as they propose their growth and education plans. The support will be provided in the form of grants or loans as deemed appropriate.

Our Experience & Expertise
Leveraging lessons from two investments and early pilot programs such as basic sales agent training, WSR, agricultural consulting, and SME distribution partnerships, we now design educational programs and social impact capital catalysts to amplify future investments and community support.
Key Project Experience
The TTTD team gained early expertise and experience in investment support and training through the project 'Fostering Food Security and Resilience Through Innovative Agricultural Services and Market Linkages in Southern Shan State,' implemented by HEKS/EPER Myanmar and co-funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
